This bag has built in lighting for the front design. You can slightly feel the ridges from the wiring when touching the exterior front pocket. Lighting is battery powered. Battery pack can be removed should you choose. Includes batteries; suggest removing batteries when light will not be used for long periods. Lighting is best seen in the dark. Three modes for use: continuous lighting, flashing and strobe. You may hear a slight buzzing sound when lighting is on.
